Description
Costume from a couple of years back, that I forgot to post. The only parts purchased are the black undershirt, scarf, and pants and shoes. The vest, mask, bag and gloves are all my own work. Plastic skull courtesy of the fact that I have a lot of Halloween decorations. Mask is a store-bought plague doctor mask, heavily modified with old sunglasses, plastic dishes, paperclay, fabric and paint. Vest is a faux-leather material, with cotton lining for some added support because it was thin and flimsy. Gloves are eva foam and metal and glass scraps over cheap plain costume gloves. The bag is a different kind of faux-leather over cardboard for structure, with metal buckles and glass syringes because it's good to have a father-in-law who used to be a chemist.
There is a single gear on the bag, because steampunk does not mean gluing gears all over stuff.
