Dark mermaid

I mean to do more beadwork on her tail, but I don't know when. This mermaid doll is from a class taught where I work. We had Judy Skeel (a href="http://www.skeelhaven.com/">www.skeelhaven.com) visiting as a teacher from out of town, and the class wasn't cheap even with my employee discounts, but it was well worth it. Judy taught us so much about needle sculpting the doll face, and wiring the hands. These doll hands aren't half bad, but the ones she made as an example were frigging amazing, with the pipe cleaners simulating tendons on the back of the hand and everything. Hers looked amazingly realistic. I kind of shot myself in the foot being wierd and making mine black, because the black stitch lines in black thread on black fabric were hell to look at. I also adapted her face pattern to give her the long jaw because I am strange.
