Art Cards with raven drawingsby ~Reymonkey

Traditional Art / Mixed Media / Animals & Plants

These two art cards are 'Secrets' and 'Autumn Treasures' and I put them together because obviously they're a pretty similar style. Also I have a whole lot of these and I don't want to put them all up individually. Anyways, these were both drawn with prismacolor fine markers, overtop a base of metallic acrylic paint. I didn't do any kind of pencil underdrawing so I'm pleased they came out as well as they did. I did use photo reference, though. Both of these have some odds and ends on metallic thread that's anchored/sewn through the card (there's a bead in back). The paper leaves on 'Autumn treasures' were hell to cut out, but I got the shapes of them by using a rubber stamp on the paper first.
